<p>Mary Eileen Lang, 94, passed away peacefully on May 16, 2025, in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, the city where she was born on August 10, 1930. A lifelong resident of Pittsburgh, Eileen lived a full and vibrant life marked by love for her family, a spirit of adventure, and unwavering resilience.</p>
<p>Eileen pursued her education at West Liberty State College, where she studied dental hygiene. Her professional path reflected her dedication to care and precision-qualities that also defined her personal life.</p>
<p>She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Robert "Bob" Charles Lang, and her daughter, Mary Puckett. Despite these profound losses, Eileen remained a pillar of strength for those around her. Her enduring resilience was matched only by the warmth she extended to family and friends.</p>
<p>Eileen is lovingly remembered by her children Nell (Tony) Marshall, Chuck Lang, Julie Lang, and Jenny (Tim) Lang. She was a proud grandmother to Zach (Rebecca) Puckett, Sara (Cass) Miloni, Matt (Casey) Marshall, Erin (Keith) Reed, Mae LangBurns, and Tess LangBurns. Her legacy continues through five great-grandchildren who brought her immense joy.</p>
<p>A passionate traveler with an insatiable curiosity about the world, Eileen journeyed from China to South America and many places in between. Whether exploring distant lands or tending to her garden at home, she embraced life with enthusiasm and grace. Her love for gardening reflected the care she gave to nurturing both plants and people.</p>
<p>Eileen's sense of adventure was matched by a deep devotion to those she loved. She cherished time spent with family and friends and created lasting memories through shared laughter and meaningful connection.</p>
<p>May Mary Eileen Lang's memory bring comfort to all who knew and loved her. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on May 20, 2025, at 10:30 AM at St. Bede Catholic Church 509 South Dallas Ave.</p>
